ANEF

A national platform, called "ANEF", is gradually being deployed: https: //administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/particuliers/#/

This platform automatically sends your file to the prefecture connected to your home.

CMI Brest has prepared practical sheets for you, to help you submit the right documents and to explain how to ensure that your file is processed on time. The ANEF does not cover all statuses yet. If in doubt, reach out at etudiant@cmibrest.fr.

For the moment, the following are covered by ANEF:

  • Long-stay visas equivalent to a residence permit - any status

Do you have a long-stay visa? (or "Visa long-séjour équivalent titre de séjour")

  • First requests for an Algerian resident card - student status

  • First requests for Minors in full-time education/ "mineur scolarisé"

If you came to France as a minor (less than 18 years old), you received a visa "mineur scolarisé". Before your 18th birthday, you will need to gather the documents to convert it into a residency permit. The request must be sent to the sous-préfecture within two months following your 18th birthday.

First request for an “examination student” residence permit / "concours"

You must send your request for a residence permit, preferably in paper format at the CMI, or PDF to etudiant@cmibrest.fr
